Fuelsell’s NEW Hot Hemp Logs are a breakthrough in fuel economy – sustainable and easy-to-use, a compressed log that is ideal for burning on wood and coal burning stoves.

Description

High Calorific Value - Hot Hemp Logs have an excellent calorific value of over 15 MJ/kg. This means that the heat generated during burning will match or exceed that of well-seasoned timber.

Sustainable - The hemp used to make the logs is grown sustainably on UK farms. No herbicides or pesticides are used during crop production. The log is made from fine hemp particles that are separated during the fibre extraction process. These particles are compressed into a cylindrical log. No chemicals are used during the purely mechanical fibre extraction process and the hemp logs contain no additives.

Carbon Neutral - The carbon that is released to the atmosphere during combustion is equivalent to the carbon fixed during the growth of the hemp crop. Consequently our hemp logs are carbon neutral.

Convenient - The hemp is compressed into convenient sized cylindrical logs which are easy to handle.

Hemp Ash Fertiliser - Hemp produces a quantity of ash which is somewhere between wood and coal. This ash contains soil-improving nutrients that are good for the garden.
